A gas boiler runs every day and regardless of how much or less you use it, it can wear faster than many household appliances. As a result of regular use, gas components of your boiler can work out of calibration. This results in the possibility of the gas valve “over gassing” or “under gassing” with the undesirable effect of creating the wrong mixture of gas and air, which creates a serious potential for carbon monoxide production
Often, simple faults with a gas boiler can easily be fixed. But if simple faults are ignored, it may prove costly where you may need to replace the whole gas boiler at great expense. Most importantly however, an under-maintained gas boiler could prove dangerous to you and your family.
